RFID Solutions

Radio Frequency Identification, (RFID) is the ability to read information on so called RFID tags that are placed on or in objects. RFID can be used in a wide variety of areas. It can provide better information on tracking and tracing of goods, and for example maintenance of carrier objects can be planned more efficiently. With the use of RFID it is also possible to completely automate incoming and outgoing flows of goods, without human intervention. RFID readers will generate an enormous amount of data that has to be collected and processed. The first filtering is done by the RFID readers, but further processing is necessary, and this is where SAP Netweaver can provide the middleware solution to cope with these amounts of data and send them to the back end SAP applications.
